Inside a Creative Process with Ginger In Orange. Oslo, Norway
27th Feb - 1st March 2009
Practice listening. Get out of your comfort zone to extend your horizon and be inspired. Discover new modes of expression. Learn to watch your response. Get interested. Put it out there.
This three day workshop invited students to step inside a creative process and explore their relationship to various mediums and ways of making. Through sound, movement, writing, music making and drawing they explored the art of improvisation as both a devising and performance tool. The students shared their work in groups thorughout the workshop and performed solos for eachother at the end.
"This workshop opened up my mind, and gave me permission to be able to create, and express myself from raw feeling and emotion, which for me was more powerful than any planned/pre-recorded/rehearsed material that I had created in the past." ~ Josh Speers
